Old woman, 81, bludgeoned to death in India from Indian news site 

BURDWAN (WB): The body of 81-year old woman with her head bludgeoned (like the seals bludgeoned to death… horrible) was found at her home at Natunganj area of Burdwan town on Wednesday.

Her hands were also found tied, police said adding it was being suspected that she was killed in the early hours of the day.

The woman, who had property at Belsore village in Burdwan district, lived alone and it was not known whether she had any close relatives.

Police sniffer dogs were pressed into service and later two persons - a liquor shop owner and a neighbour were arrested in connection with the incident, the police said.
